What's Up With Arlene?
These photos were taken just outside the auditorium where Kayla had her recognition day. This is her 4th consecutive year to get a silver academic award. Maybe I must be doing something right here - or she's just really smart. 
There are a lot of things we never dreamt of being yet we find ourselves in that place. As in the movies, no girl ever dreamt of being a mistress (John Lloyd's The Mistress), neither has anyone dreamt that their family will fall apart.
Continue Reading →One of the best plans that happen are the ones that are unplanned. It was a long weekend, no shoot, everyone was free, Kayla was about to turn 9, so we hit the road to an hour’s drive away beach. It’s a not so crowded cove where I would love to shoot a beach wedding one day.
I am very much inspired by Anthropologie. That’s why whenever my sister Wai’ Oli Sue sends in a catalogue I just devour it and wait for anyone willing to execute the pegs with me.

Its nice to know there is beach just an hour and a half way drive from our place. Not white sand Bora but I’d escape to this place anytime for the sound of the waves, the amazing sunrises & sunsets and a good break with the change in scenery,
