Mike & Lara celebrate their day with preps at Mt. Makiling, a ceremony in Bay, Laguna and a grand reception at the National Arts Center, Los Banos. It’s amazing how creative Lara is, the whole ceremony & reception were her design. I never knew the church in Bay would look so royal & the National Arts Center so dressed up. Aside from running Berris Cuisine, she’s going to be a great events stylist.
Stephen and Glyze has been the couple organizing the Purpose Driven Photographer workshop in Singapore. During my stay there, they were very helpful & always ready to pose, introduced me to cereal shrimp and a whole lot of foodie stuff in SG. I love it when hair & make-up ends early and there is enough time for solo portraits. This is where the fashion and just out of magazine look happens. Make-up is fresh, emotions are high with excitement & giddiness, and a sudden boost of creativity happens. Manila Peninsula has great light in the afternoon. It was a delight to capture Benro & Madel in this light. It set the mood for their day which was just gorgeous.
When you let God write your love story, everything falls perfectly into place. Arnold & Lady have always been blessed with beautiful light. Ever since their prenup in UP Diliman, it just shined with awesome rays. And whenever they came home from Singapore to fix their wedding, the weather always cooperated. I remember Joyce asking me “do you believe in fairytales?” before she marched into the church door with Dariel waiting on the otherside. Dariel has been her first and only boyfriend & that day was a fairytale come true for the both of them.

It’s lovely to reminisce previous weddings shot like that of Philip & Gi. I got to shoot their prenup but since I was already booked at an earlier time on the same day of their wedding, I just followed but was still lucky to be able to capture the magic of their special day.
Philip & Gi both have huge hearts for the Lord and for each other. It was easy to see how blessed they were when they got married. Congrats Philip & Gi!
I believe that every couple that I get to shoot is not given to me by accident. I was delighted to find out that Lynn also works for Philips which is another company close to my heart. Talk about 6 degrees of separation - that everyone is on average approximately six steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person on Earth.

I love love love beach weddings. Its the sand, the sea, the breeze that adds to the appeal of one. A perfect setting for Marlo & Joy who had a simple yet very heartfelt wedding at La Luz, Laiya, San Juan, Batangas.
There is just something about catching the sunrise on a morning wedding. Its the freshness of everything that lends to that appeal especially when its partnered with the detail that was put into Filbert & Mishi’s country-orchard wedding at The Mango Farm, Antipolo.
There are just some weddings that captivate you…hold you… with the details & emotions. JM & Jen just had that – loving glances, great designs & lots of love around. I am a visual person, and the day I shot this, held me in awe every moment of the way. From the colors, to the flowers, to the tears & a rustic romantic atmosphere all day.
