Richard & Pauline had a lovely beach wedding at Acuatico Beach Resort, Laiya, Batangas.  Pauline looked stunning in her Monique Lhuillier gown, and even more with Richard by her side.

We were blessed with good weather, awesome light, a fire dance! great emotions & spectacular fireworks that day.  Congrats Richard & Pauline!  I’m blessed to have captured this special day with your family & friends.

You can get a glimpse into the personality of Anna & Reyval in this shoot.  They’re the same but also totally opposite at the same time.  Amping up the heat a little more in summer with these two.

Ayala Westgrove Heights does live up to its name as a premier place for living.  The whole shoot was taken at its central park.  That coupled with personal items made this one a picnic perfect one.  Everything that day was fun & relaxed.  Looking forward to the wedding guys!

 Cheng is probably the most kickass bride I’ve shot so far.  I don’t know how she handles guns, breastfeeding & now being a wife & soldier at the same time.  But she does it with so much feminine toughness which I have always admired in her since highschool.

And this I know that this amazing lady & her equally ‘astig’ husband Erick will go far with the heart of service that they have for our country & for their family.

Holy Week Reflections :

We can believe that Jesus is in our situation with us, and even though sometimes it feels as if He is sleeping through our storm, we can know that He is able to tell the storm to be still – and when He does, it will stop.

This wedding rocked PINK.  Paul Vincent & Marica are a young couple that got married in Taytay, Rizal & Antipolo.  Ever since I met them during our pre-wedding meeting, there was always an air of excitement in them that I found all the way up to their wedding day.

 Take note of the shoes!  Lovely details.

Marica’s father passed away, so for her bouquet, she put a photo of him in the locket.  That was a great symbolic way of having him with her throughout the day.

 I don’t know why but I really love it when the bride puts on her own shoes.  Its like Cinderella starting on her fairy tale.

The church in Taytay was open, airy & breezy, just the way I remembered it when I attended a wedding there a few years ago.

 The bridesmaids always have that meaningful look when the bride walks down the aisle.

 We found a ‘secret garden’ where the reception was held.  Photographing at night is usually a challenge for most but when God said ‘let there be light’  I never knew how much fun there was in playing with it.

If there is a family of talents, it could be found in the Marasigans : Allan, Peachy, Nicky, Keira.

Allan manages this really hip bar / lounge at the fort Seventh High, Peachy was actually my boss in Marketing way back but has gone into creatively designing her own line of shirts & bags at Bubble Wrap and is selling the coolest outfits at Happy Seconds.

Keira is their 4 year old adorable daughter who caught Peachy & Allan’s creativity especially in drawing.

 And Nicky is a rockstar in the making, he loves old school bands which is pretty cool for a 13-year old.

Did I mention already how adorable Keria is? I’ll say it again, she’s so adorable!

Good job to DIY couples who put a lot of personal touches in their wedding to make it uniquely theirs.  This wedding has a lot of details into it, and it gives me a kick to capture them no matter how small.  La Huerta Estate is a great place to get married.  It has that rustic elegant appeal in the highlands of Antipolo.

It’s picturesque here at National Arts Center, Los Banos, Laguna.  A great place to come back to for anyone who grew up here & got touched by this place. She met Tony in Australia where she’s been living in the past years and the rest is (I don’t care how cliche this sounds) you know it … sweet history.

Of course it’s always great capturing classmates from back then and Tess was still that sweet & smart person I have known from highschool.  Everything was very Filipiniana and one of my favorites was her veil which was made out of pinya.  The sharing of both families during the reception was a very heartfely way to celebrate a union that cuts across cultures.

Adrian & Peachy got married on a cool December day at La Castellana.  They are both Singapore-based and I was lucky to sit down with them over a cup of coffee there a few month before their wedding day.  Loving the Lord and loving each other  is a great combination in any relationship and I am just happy to have captured just that on their wedding day.
