These photos were taken just outside the auditorium where Kayla had her recognition day. This is her 4th consecutive year to get a silver academic award. Maybe I must be doing something right here - or she's just really smart.

Danica is really pretty in person & it was such a privilege to be able to capture her on her 7th month before giving birth. She was also an Imagine Nation bride so we had common ground to begin with. Babies always tickle that fuzzy bone within a lot of us. So I thought I’d add a little more LIFE shoots before I go on back to blogging about weddings. Here’s one cute baby I shot at 2 months. Welcome gorgeous baby Diarra!
One of the best plans that happen are the ones that are unplanned. It was a long weekend, no shoot, everyone was free, Kayla was about to turn 9, so we hit the road to an hour’s drive away beach. It’s a not so crowded cove where I would love to shoot a beach wedding one day.
Time with the kids. Their laughter & smiles remind me of that sweet innocent time of childhood and how a pool can totally make a child’s day. Continue Reading →
